Singer, songwriter, guitarist, cartoonist, artist and now, author -- Brad Paisley has done it all since he began his country music career. As it turns out, that career began over 30 years ago with a Christmas present from his Papaw.

Paisley tells that story and so many more in his New York Times best-selling book 'Diary of a Player.' The hard copy was released in 2011, and the paperback has just been made available this week. Taste of Country has your chance to win one of five copies of the paperback. All you need to do to win is enter your email address below.

As always, only one entry per person is allowed. The contest ends on July 3, after which winners will be contacted via email. Be sure to read the official Taste of Country contest rules before entering.

Paisley and writer David Wild share stories of Paisley's career, but perhaps more interestingly go into detail about the men and women who inspired and shaped his iconic sound. The singer is considered to be amongst the best guitarists in country music, and his songs are regularly heralded at country music awards shows. As it turns out, he's a pretty good story teller as well, although this comes as no surprise to his diehard fans.

Paisley is currently on the Virtual Reality Tour with the Band Perry and Scotty McCreery. They'll be playing weekends through October.
