Of course Carrie Underwood has a good cheatin' song on her new Storyteller album. "Dirty Laundry" is a smoky country-rocker about a no good, two-timin' bum, and the singer gets her revenge. Watch as she talks about this song, No. 2 on the new album, in stores on Friday (Oct. 23).

“It’s a take on a cheater in a familiar way,” Underwood says, smiling in this clip. Lipstick and red wine stains give him away, and a scorned wife wants to let everyone know about it.

“It shows on his dirty laundry, but it’s also like she airs it out for the whole world to see, metaphorically and literally," she adds.

"All those midnight, sneaking in, I'm late again, oh, I'm so sorry / All the Ajax in the world ain't gonna clean your dirty laundry," the star sings.

For her fifth studio album, Underwood worked with longtime producer Mark Bright as well as Jay Joyce, the man behind albums from Eric Church and Little Big Town. Joyce produced this song, and his experimental stamp is all over it. As Underwood talks it's clear it's one of her favorites from Storyteller.
