Carrie Underwood’s Older Son Is Following in His Dad’s Footsteps
It's no secret that Carrie Underwood's two sons have a legendary sports figure for a father. Mike Fisher's prestigious ice hockey career in the NHL is well known. And it would be no surprise that Fisher probably is interested in passing on the athlete's torch to his boys.
Looks like that's already starting to happen, as Fisher posted a shot to his Instagram stories of his eldest, Isaiah, trying out his chops on the ice with some accoutrements to help him along. The little boy (who will be celebrating his 4th birthday at the end of this month) apparently felt confident enough to let go. "Look ma no hands," Fisher captioned the photo. Could we have a new future NHL star on tap?
Isaiah is having a busy start to 2019 by any preschooler's standards, having been presented with a baby brother, Jacob, last month. He indicated before Jacob's birth that he wasn't feeling too sure about sharing his mother's attention, so it is especially nice to see him spending quality time with his dad while mom tends to all the usual newborn demands.
Underwood is currently enjoying a few well-deserved months bonding time with her new family of four before she will embark on her Cry Pretty Tour, which kicks off in May.
