The newly married Chely Wright, who said 'I do' to wife Lauren Blitzer back in August, is plotting the release of some Christmas music ... maybe. The 'Single White Female' singer teased that she may have already started a holiday album when a follower suggested via Twitter that she should put one out, or at least a Christmas single.

"You should record a Christmas album - at least a song on iTunes!" the tweet to Wright read, which resulted in a retweet and a comment from the singer. "Funny you mention that," Wright added in response with a wink.

Since her first Top 40 country hit, 1997's 'Shut Up and Drive,' Wright has released several studio albums, including her most recent, 'Lifted Off the Ground' (in 2010), but this will be her first seasonal record if the idea pans out.

While traditional Christmas music is a staple during the holiday season, nothing quite says 'Deck the Halls' like a classic track recorded by your favorite artist. Wright would certainly not be the first country crooner to record a Christmas album; she'd be joining a whole squad of famous faces that have spread holiday cheer with warm tunes, like Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride and many, many more.
