Chris Young is in a Denver-area hospital seeking treatment for a leg infection. The origin of the infection is not known, but the 'Aw Naw' singer will be spending the next 24 hours under medical watch.

As a result, Young has had to cancel one headlining performance and pull out of three dates on Brad Paisley's Beat This Summer Tour. Wednesday night's (Aug. 14) show in Kalispell, Mont. has been canceled, and he'll miss the Aug. 15-17 Paisley tour stops.

“One minute I was fine then suddenly I’m being rushed to the hospital,” Young said in a statement via his publicist. He was en route to Kalispell when he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

Young says he's looking forward to returning to the road as quickly as possible. He is expected to resume touring on Aug. 21 in Redding, Calif. 'Aw Naw' is the first single from his upcoming fourth studio album 'A.M.' which will be released on Sept. 17.
