Danny Gokey and Wife Welcome a Baby Girl

Danny Gokey and his wife had even more reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving. The couple welcomed their second child over the holiday weekend.
Gokey and his wife, Leyicet, first announced the pregnancy on Facebook in July, revealing that they were expecting a girl. Victoria Isabella Gokey was born on Nov. 28, weighing in at 9 lbs., 2 oz. She joins older brother Daniel Emanuel, who was born in January of 2013.
The proud father shared the news with fans in a video he posted to Facebook.
Gokey first came to public attention competing on the eighth season of 'American Idol,' where he placed third. He released his sophomore album, 'Hope in Front of Me,' in June.
