It's now been 40 years since the song's release, and each year on the Fourth of July, the song gets resurrected all across America, and played at picnics, fireworks displays and get togethers all across this great land.

Greenwood's big week kicks off tomorrow, the Fourth of July, he will be performing live in Oregon (7/4), Texas (7/5) and Louisiana (7/6).
