Following a successful stint in Europe earlier this year, Frankie Ballard has announced that he will be heading back overseas this fall for a 10-date tour.

"Our first trip was such a great time, we decided to come back for more,” Ballard says in a press release. “I'm anxious to see how the new album reacts overseas ... it'll have its sea-legs by October!"

Ballard's first time overseas included sold-out shows at London’s Hoxton Bar and Brooklyn Bowl. The new tour begins Oct. 3 in Amsterdam, and he will travel to Hamburg and Munich, Germany, before Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Brighton, London and Dublin.

Ballard's El Rio will be released on June 10. It was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Torillo, Texas. El Rio is the follow up to Sunshine & Whiskey, which garnered Ballard three No. 1 songs.

“I’m very proud of the work Marshall [Altman, producer] and I did on El Rio,” he previously told Taste of Country. “We busted our ass to be better. It’s been a spiritual journey. This album has already changed my life, and nobody’s heard it yet.”

He adds: “A lot of my rock and roll influences like John Mellencamp and Bob Seger have leaked their way into this album.”
