The daughter of two of the most legendary country artists of all time is going independent for her next album.

Georgette Jones is the daughter of departed legends George Jones and Tammy Wynette, who are the only husband and wife to both reside in the Country Music Hall of Fame. She announced her next studio project in a post to Facebook on Tuesday (Sept. 15), writing, "Finally, I can announce I am ready to get to work on my new CD project. First, I want to say I have been blessed to work with Heart of Texas records and this announcement doesn't mean we won't have future projects together, but I have been on a long journey of musical discovery of myself and I am ready to take action."

Jones will be turning directly to her fans to help crowdfund the new project.

"In about a week, I'm going to launch an Indiegogo plan to help fund my new project and it offers many exciting 'perks' to anyone who signs up," she reveals, adding that she'll be working with the son of another country legend, Roger Miller.

"I'm thrilled to announce that Dean Miller has agreed to produce my CD and we have some great songs and really exciting ideas for what we're going to do," Jones adds. "I think my parents and his Dad are smiling down on us knowing that we are working together! This is my dream ... to make a CD in Nashville with the musicians that I've admired for a lifetime ... with the songs that I choose and a chance to have full input on everything. A few surprises we hope to pull off and announce later, but ... so looking forward to making this happen. Thanks to everyone who has offered encouragement and pushed me to live my dream!"
