Gwen Sebastian, Blake Shelton Affair Rumors are ‘Stupid,’ She Says

Blake Shelton and Gwen Sebastian have a No. 1 hit together, but the affair rumors that have been circulating are just that: rumors. And Sebastian wants to set the record straight once and for all.

True, 'My Eyes' is a sexy song, and true that Sebastian and Shelton are close, but the songstress insists there's not truth to the rumors. She loves both Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert. The former 'The Voice' contestant admits she just tries to overlook what everyone's saying as best she can.

“Honestly, I just don’t even look at any of rumors,” Sebastian tells Fox News. “We all think it’s silly and stupid and we love each other. I don’t know how I can pay back Miranda and Blake -- they're just cool people and I love them.”

"He’s done so much for me. There’s really no way I can repay him back, to be honest with you," Sebastian tells Taste of Country of Shelton.

"Maybe try to pay him back in a bow and arrow, maybe some vodka,” she adds, laughing. The affair rumors don't seem to bother Lambert, either -- she cut two songs with Sebastian.

Had 'My Eyes' not gone to No. 1, Sebastian was ready to take the blame all on her own. "I’m hoping it goes No. 1 and if it doesn’t it’s my fault," she said in June. Lucky for her and her duet partner, neither will have to accept blame this time around.
