Jerrod Niemann fans get ready! The hot newcomer is gearing up to make his debut appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' airing Thursday, March 10. On the show, Niemann will perform his recent Gold-certified No. 1 single 'Lover, Lover.'

Niemann is fresh off the road from being on Brad Paisley's H2O Frozen Over Tour, along with Darius Rucker. The two will join Paisley back out on the road in May when the tour relaunches, this time bringing Blake Shelton, Sunny Sweeney, Edens Edge and Brent Anderson along for the ride.

"To be on a tour with the reigning Entertainer of the Year, you learn so much," Niemann tells Taste of Country. "Brad puts so much into his show, and he’s a wonderful influence. We’ll be out with Blake Shelton this time, and Darius is incredible. I’m so glad I got the chance to get to know him. I already know Blake [laughs] … oh my goodness. It’s going to be fun. I know all of us kind of run our mouth onstage, so I think by the time Brad gets done, I don’t know how the crowd is going to feel [laughs]. They’re going to need a break from that nonsense."

Niemann will first hit the road with buddy Lee Brice on their co-headlining Higher Education Tour, kicking off March 10 in Columbia, Mo. Check out a complete list of dates where the two can be found throughout March and April.

Niemann is currently sitting just outside the Top 10 country singles chart with his latest hit, 'What Do You Want,' from his 'Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury' album. Click here to read about the writing of 'What Do You Want' in our exclusive Lyrics Uncovered about the song.
