It's now become official: John Rich, country singer-songwriter, producer and member of Big and Rich, is part of the cast of the new season of 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

He will join actor Gary Busey, rocker Meat Loaf, singer La Toya Jackson, teen idol David Cassidy, 'Survivor' winner Richard Hatch, pop-rocker Mark McGrath, actress Marlee Matlin, singer Dionne Warwick, retired baseball star Jose Canseco, Star Jones, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'’s NeNe Leakes, soap actress Lisa Rinna, rapper Lil Jon, model Hope Dworaczyk and supermodel Niki Taylor on the show.

The celebrities will compete against each other to raise money for their favorite charities. Last October, they were seen taping Rich, Busey and Lil Jon selling pizza outside of Famiglia Pizzeria in New York City.

While Rich can't reveal details about the show, the country star tells WYCD, "At some point, major, major donations have come in for my charity, which is St. Jude Children's fund, and that number has gone over half a million dollars. I can't go into more detail than that." He adds, "I will tell you this: Country done come to damn town. The rhinestone boots, the Stetson hats blasting through New York City is quite a scene."

Trump tells PEOPLE, "When we did the very first 'Celebrity Apprentice' people didn't know whether to do it, but then everyone has seen all the winners have gone on to all these great things. Piers Morgan with CNN. Joan Rivers' career took off again. I can't turn on the TV without seeing Bret Michaels. He is the big superstar. They've all done so well."As for how Donald feels about Rich, all he'll say is, “John is very clever. He's very smart."

In 2009, Piers Morgan beat Trace Adkins in the finals of 'Celebrity Apprentice,' while Clint Black was fired during last year's season as a project manager who couldn’t come up with a good jingle for Chicken of the Sea. The new season of 'Celebrity Apprentice' premieres on March 6 on NBC.
