Josh Thompson Addresses Engagement Rumors

Earlier this week, Nashville's rumor mill started churning, and Josh Thompson was the center of the commotion. When talk of the 'Beer on the Table' and 'Way Out Here' singer being engaged surfaced, his fans went into a tizzy wondering if it was true or not.

Thompson hopped on his Twitter page on Thursday afternoon to speak of the true love that he intends on spending the rest of his life with.

"Yes I'm engaged," Thompson tweeted, clarifying the lucky recipient of his never-ending love was ... "music."

"I can't help it, it's the love of my life," he added. "Chill y'all go have a drink. God Bless the Packers."

Thompson is currently in the midst of the 2011 CMT On Tour trek, also featuring headliner Luke Bryan, Lee Brice and Matt Mason. The tour will continue on through Nov. 19, when it wraps in Monroe, La. Thompson is also gearing up for the release of his new single from his forthcoming sophomore album. The singer is hoping the new album will hit stores in the first part of the new year. As for his love life? It looks like he'll be keeping quiet about it for now.
