Texas country artists are known for being a humble bunch, always supportive of their friends on the scene and willing to go great lengths for their tight-knit community of fans. Camaraderie is wonderful, but now, it's up for the fans to decide who is the leader of the red dirt scene. This week, we introduce Taste of Country's Red Dirt Rumble.

The premise is simple: Each week, two of Texas country music’s hottest new songs will compete for fan votes, and the song with the most votes wins. This week, Kevin Fowler's hit 'That Girl' will go head to head with Reckless Kelly's 'Good Luck and True Love' for the title.

Fowler spares no details in his chart-rising hit, as he sings about his wonderful lifelong love with a special girl who is undoubtedly 'the one.' Reckless Kelly, on the other hand, take another approach -- singing about 'the one' that got away after only a few hours of acquaintance. For them, it's not true love -- just a night of good luck and not getting ahead of yourself.

Have a listen to Fowler's 'That Girl' and Restless Kelly's 'Good Luck and True Love' and decide for yourself which is more up your alley. Vote wisely and share this page with your friends so that they can dive into the competition, too. You've got until Midnight CT on Wednesday, Nov. 9 to pick your poison. After the champion of this Rumble is chosen, a new match will start up, pitting this week's winner against a new challenger.

Rules of the Rumble: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and winner goes on to face next week’s challenger. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, he or she will be retired into the Taste of Country Texas Red Dirt Rumble Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete.
