Kids Singing Country Songs: Maddie and Tae, ‘Fly’

Jaiden Huffman may only be 10 years old, but the young singer has a big voice that channels traditional country legends. In fact, she's so impressive that her cover of Maddie & Tae's "Fly" even got the duo's attention, and they gave her a ton of praise for her rendition.

Huffman covered the powerful song "Fly" in her living room with Dad accompanying on a guitar, the video of which garnered more than 31,000 views this year. The little girl deserves all of the attention she has received — her mature voice is almost effortless. The sound is an unwavering throwback to the classics, which is likely what helped catch Maddie & Tae's ears.

Just three months after her performance with her father in the living room, Jaiden sang "Fly" with Maddie & Tae for a small crowd. The duo even complimented the young girl by telling her she sings their song better than they do. It all started with a young girl's love of country music and desire to sing.
