Lessons Learned From Dad – Chris Young
"My dad is one of those people ... he's the ultimate guy's guy. 'Hospital? I don't need a hospital ... I'll just wrap it up with an ace bandage' [laughs]. He's that guy. He's my step-dad, but he treats me like I'm his kid. That is my dad. If I reference my dad in anything, that's who I'm talking about. It's so cool that he's able to do that. That's an aspect of love that I just hadn't seen before. There's nothing quite like having somebody be your dad. If I'm ever a father one day, I'll have a lot to look up to and a lot to live up to. If there's one thing I can say he's taught me, that's it. I don't know how I could ever be a better dad to a kid than he was to me." - Chris Young
