Luke Bryan has been announced as the musical headliner for the 2015 Endymion Extravaganza in New Orleans.

The Mardi Gras parade is set to take place on Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14. According to WDSU, Bryan will headline the musical portion of the celebration at the Carnival Ball at the Superdome.

"Luke Bryan is so popular right now, the ladies love him and the parade is on Valentine's Day, so I think he'll do well," says Ed Muniz, Krewe Captain for the Endymion Super Krewe.

The krewe's theme will be "Fantastic Voyages," and due to the parade date, signature throws will be Valentine's Day-related, with the Endymion mascot dressed as Cupid.

The super krewe will also debut an all new bandwagon float that features a large LED panel screen displaying live video of the parade. The krewe currently has 3,000 riders and 36 floats in the 2015 parade. Muniz expects to have 20,000 people at the formal ball at the Superdome.

Bryan just completed the first leg of his That's My Kind of Night Tour, which sold out in every market, including four stadium shows with crowds of 225,000 fans, two sold-out concerts at Madison Square Garden and a string of double-play dates that broke venue attendance records. He recently announced a second leg, which will kick off in February of 2015.
