Country singer Martina McBride participated in a intimate chat with fans via Livestream last Thursday from her own Blackbird Studios in Nashville. The singer is also a busy mother of three daughters, but she still carved time out of her schedule to answer a myriad of questions and discuss plenty of topics, ranging from what's she's reading (she's planning to dive into Ashley Judd's somewhat controversial new memoir about life as Naomi Judd's daughter) to her opinion of celeb reality shows like 'The Voice' and 'Dancing With the Stars.'

McBride, whose upcoming album is due out on August 23, said she loves NBC's brand-new ratings juggernaut 'The Voice,' which features fellow country superstar Blake Shelton as a talent coach. McBride says she is proud of Shelton and that she is already a fan of the show. "I loved 'The Voice.' I think it’s a really great show," she said. "I just thought it was really a cool concept, and I love the way they did it. I think it’s one of those shows I’ll be watching all year long."

Not only will McBride be parked in front of the TV watching 'The Voice' this season like millions of fellow Americans, but she also admitted that she would consider joining the show if the scheduling worked out. "I would consider doing something like that," she said. "I think it takes a lot of time, so I’m not sure it would really fit in with my life right now with the kids." You hear that, producers?

While 'The Voice' is a show that McBride would like to perhaps cameo on, the much more active 'Dancing With the Stars' is not a series for which she'd put on her dancing shoes! "I think it’s a fun show, but it looks like a lot of work, and I think there’s some working out involved," McBride said. "The idea of spending all day working out and learning how to dance … probably not. I just wanna instantly be able to dance like that. I’m lazy like that." We have to agree -- we'd all love to be able to instantly waltz across the ballroom or master a dance in a matter of minutes.
