Miranda Lambert has announced that the Highway Vagabond Tour will begin in January, and it may be named after a new song on her upcoming studio album.

In August, songwriter Luke Dick performed a song called "Highway Vagabond" at the Basement East in Nashville. He teased that someone had put it on hold, but immediately, Shane McAnally — seated to Dick's right — spilled the beans, revealing that Lambert had it reserved.

Taste of Country was on hand to watch Dick perform a vibey, acoustic version of a song that describes a drifter searching for the answer's to life's many questions:

"Highway vagabond, living like hippies / Moving right along to the next big city," Dick sings. "Okay, jump off the exit / Truck stop, rest stop, next stop Texas / Caravan like a wild west show / I don’t care man as long as we go my way / Singing for your supper / Get off of one and get on another highway / Vagabonds."

If Lambert has indeed cut the song, it'd be for her The Weight of These Wings double album, which is scheduled to drop on Nov. 18. She's shared the album art and title so far. Each side will have its own name: Disc 1 will be called "The Nerve," while Disc 2 will be called "The Heart." The project promises to be a reflection of what the singer has gone through in the last 18 months.

The Highway Vagabond Tour will begin in January and run through March. She'll focus mostly on midwest cites during the 18-stop tour with Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers. Lambert headlined the Keeper of the Flamer Tour over the summer — that's the title of another song rumored to be on her next studio album.
