Rachel Bradshaw Gets ‘Warrior’ Tattoo to Honor Late Husband Rob Bironas
Rachel Bradshaw says her late husband Rob Bironas was, and forever will be, a warrior. A new tattoo permanently inks what he stood for on her wrist.
Bironas -- a former kicker for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans -- died in a single car crash in September, prompting an outpouring of condolences and grief from the country music community. Bradshaw is a rising country singer, and Bironas himself was a good friend to many songwriters and country stars. Carrie Underwood, Charlie Daniels and Josh Turner were amongst the singers who tweeted a memory of No. 2.
Bradshaw stayed away from Facebook for six weeks following his death, and only sent a few tweets before the beginning of this month. She now looks to be working on new music while she appreciates time with close friends like Sarah Davidson. On Nov. 8, she remembered the anniversary of the day she met Bironas:
Two years ago today I met the most amazing man in the world. I married him and lost him shortly after... Please Tell your loved ones how much you love them every single day. Don't hold grudges. Be kind. Love unconditionally. That's what Rob stood for. He was a warrior.. And forever will be.
Bironas was killed when he lost control of his Yukon Denali shortly after 11PM on Sept. 20. A toxicology report revealed his blood alcohol level was 0.218 percent, well over the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
