Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren have their hands full when it comes to life off stage. With four little daughters under eight years old, there is never a dull moment.

As the two navigate parenting, Rhett shares that it’s the look back at how he and his wife were raised that’s helped them parent their own children.

“Consistency is a thing me and Lauren both learned early,” Rhett told Taste of Country in an interview ahead of the 2024 ACM Awards.

“When your dad said something, your mom said something, it was fine if they said it once, ya know. But when it’s consistent of like it’s a yay or a nay, I think that’s what my kids love about me and Lauren. We just don’t bend on certain things.”

Although Thomas Rhett saw consistency played out with his parents, he admits it hasn’t been the easiest thing to maintain with his own kids.

“You look at their faces and go, 'All right, you can have like nine sour patch kids,” the singer says, smiling.

The “Beautiful as You” singer recently opened up to Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights on the stage of life he and his wife are entering into, and if they are open to having more children.

"My wife and I are just having fun again, dude," Rhett said. "We're not in the diaper phase anymore, we're actually having date nights and hangin' with friends until after midnight."

Musically, the singer just released “Beautiful as You,” a single gearing up for his full-length album due out Aug. 23.
