In 2013, country singer Jack Ingram teamed up with football coach Mack Brown and Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey to create a two-day fundraising event that benefits children’s charities across the U.S.

The Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M) event focuses specifically on organizations that benefit children’s education, health and wellness. This year, MJ&M will give the proceeds to children’s charities including the Rise School of Austin, just keep livin Foundation, Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, CureDuchenne and HeartGift. Since its inception in 2013, the nonprofit event has raised almost $2 million for local charities.

The two-day 2015 event will take place April 16-17 in Austin, Texas. The fundraiser includes golf, fashion and several concerts. The lineup for the Jack Ingram & Friends show includes talent such as emcee Jimmy Kimmel, Willis Alan Ramsey and fellow country music stars Jon Randall, Jessi Alexander and Will Hoge.

“I feel equally proud to be alongside EVERY artist we invite to play at MJM’s Jack & Friends,” Ingram says. “We celebrate coming together to empower kids."

Ingram’s prolific career includes eight studio albums, six live albums, 18 singles, and the number one hit 'Wherever You Are.' His newest album, ‘Motel Sessions,’ will be released later this year. For more information about the upcoming fundraiser, visit this website.
