AJ McLean has released a track to which every parent can relate -- but whether you have children or not, it's sure to make you grab the tissues.

McLean's newest release, "Give You Away," shows off his love as a parent. The song dives into the emotions that parents feel knowing their children will grow up, leave, and potentially get married. His vocals bring a hint of twang paired with strong passion.

"This song is for my daughters Ava and Lyric ...," McLean writes on Instagram. "Daddy loves you! Miss my girls already!"

The lyric video that McLean released along with his new song features images of his family, including his two daughters, Ava Jaymes and Lyric Dean. The girls are also seen running in a field while holding hands on the single's cover.

McLean's release of "Give You Away" follows his single "Boy and a Man," which also showcases his wife, Rochelle, in its accompanying music video. McLean has finished the work on his upcoming debut LP, Long Road, which will reportedly debut later this year. The new album will feature songs written by living legends Clint Lagerberg and Brett Tyler.

McLean is currently touring internationally with the Backstreet Boys, through the beginning of June. He will be performing at a number of festivals in support of his solo project, and then kick off the North American leg of the Backstreet Boys' DNA World Tour in July.
