Finally, we have a little good news to report regarding Blake Shelton, who has had his share of bad news in recent weeks after his father passed away. Shelton's latest chart-topping single, 'God Gave Me You,' has now been certified platinum by the RIAA for digital sales exceeding one million copies sold!

Also receiving new certifications are Shelton's 'Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton' album and his current album 'Red River Blue,' the latter of which spawned 'God Gave Me You,' as well as his multi-week No. 1 hit 'Honey Bee.' Both albums have gone gold.

Shelton received the new plaques for his wall on Friday (Jan. 27) in Duluth, Ga., where he was stopped to perform on his Well Lit and Amplified Tour. The show was the first date back on the road for the singer following the death of his father. Shelton's tour, which kicked off on Jan. 12 in Toledo, Ohio, also features Justin Moore and 'The Voice' finalist Dia Frampton as openers.

This weekend, fans can tune into NBC for the premiere of Season 2 of 'The Voice,' where Shelton will once again join superstars Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine as coaches and mentors to the inspiring hopefuls. 'The Voice' will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 5 following the Super Bowl.
