Cam Helps Celebrate CMA’s Music Education Initiative in Mannequin Challenge Video
You can't spell Cam without "CMA," and that's why he Country Music Association enlisted the country star to share some exciting news on this year's Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29.
CMA followed the popular trend of the Mannequin Challenge to announce that they are going to grant $3.1 million dollars spread over 44 programs for music education all across the nation. This brings their total to $17.5 million donated to a variety of music programs to date.
The Mannequin Challenge video features a whole cast of people, standing eerily and completely still and holding signs of various programs that CMA's grant will help. As the video comes to a close, you can see Cam, clad in her signature yellow, holding her pose on stage pretending to perform.
If you want to see Cam actually performing, make sure to catch her on one of the remaining dates of her debut headlining Burning House Tour.
“I’m so over the moon about the Burning House Tour, I’m creating a world for our fans to come escape to every night — a magical setting with an incredibly dynamic live band. You’re in for a ride, that’s for sure," the singer shares. “There’ll be sharing stories behind fans’ favorite songs and dancing and singing together like the crazy family we are. It’s going to be an unforgettable adventure.”
Cam will be in Ohio, Michigan and Illinois this weekend before wrapping the trek up next weekend in Las Vegas.
