Chase Bryant Gets Engaged After Best Proposal Ever
Chase Bryant is engaged! The singer-songwriter and guitarist is marrying Kourtney Kellar after giving her a one-of-a-kind proposal Monday night (Sept. 11).
People reports that Bryant and Kellar shared their first kiss on the set of his "Room to Breathe" music video after he invited her to appear in the clip with him. She actually ties him up in the video. Prior to the 2016 CMA Awards Bryant downplayed their romance, telling Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex she was just a girl from a local talent agency while pointing out she was from his home state of Texas.
Their relationship developed into a romance, and when he decided to ask her to marry him, he took her back to the spot that they had that kiss in the street during the video shoot.
In a romantic video he shared with People, the singer gets down on one knee to propose to Kellar, undeterred by the fact that it's pouring rain. You can see Kellar raise her hand to her mouth as she realizes what's happening. How could any woman say no to that?

24-year-old Bryant and Kellar were already best friends when the rising star asked her to appear in his video for "Room to Breathe," hoping to start a romantic spark between them. But he can still hardly believe it actually worked, he says.
"If you told me at the moment we met that I would be lucky enough to marry Kourtney, I would have said you were crazy," Bryant says. "It was incredible that we were able to have this special moment in the same spot as our first kiss. We are so excited to see what our future together holds."
Kellar -- a model who was crowned Miss Texas International in 2017 -- shared her excitement in a post to Instagram, writing, "He asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I'm on cloud nine," adding, "I love you always & forever @iamchasebryant."
The couple have not announced a wedding date.
Bryant scored a Top 10 hit with his 2015 debut single, "Take It on Back." He's been on the road in 2017 as a supporting act on Brad Paisley‘s Weekend Warrior World Tour along with Dustin Lynch and Lindsay Ell.
