Chase Bryant Nails Jazz-Inspired ‘Body Like a Back Road’ Cover [Watch]
Watch out, Sam Hunt, because Chase Bryant's rendition of "Body Like a Back Road" is pretty killer, too. The newcomer has slowly but surely been making a name for himself as a cover song master, and his rendition of Hunt's signature track further solidifies that.
Bryant shared his rendition of the smash hit with fans on Facebook. The rising star invites an entire horn section into the studio as he brings the guitar and smooth vocals, adding a swanky twist to the sexy song. Bryant almost turns the song into a sultry jazz number as he croons the signature lyrics: "Body like a back road / Drivin' with my eyes closed / I know every curve like the back of my hand." He may even draw comparisons to pop singer Sam Smith with his sultry vocals, evening throwing in a high note or two while showing off his guitar skills in the process.

"Body Like a Back Road" set a record on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart when it sat in the No. 1 position for 25 weeks straight. Along with Hunt's hit song, Bryant has also tackled Little Big Town's "Better Man" and performed covers of "Shut Up and Dance" and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" during his live shows.
Both singers are currently on the road, as Hunt headlines his 2017 15 in a 30 Tour while Bryant serves as a supporting act on Brad Paisley's 2017 Weekend Warrior World Tour alongside Dustin Lynch and Lindsay Ell.
