Cam to Co-Host Taste of Country’s CMA Awards Red Carpet Broadcast
Cam and Sam will lead the Taste of Country live stream from the 2017 CMA Awards red carpet. "Burning House" and "Diane" singer Cam is slated to co-host this year's YouTube Live and Facebook Live broadcast.
During a visit with Taste of Country Nights, Cam and Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex revealed they'll be a pair on Nov. 8. The broadcast will begin at 5PM CT — subscribe to ToC's YouTube channel or follow us on Facebook to ensure you don't forget about what is sure to be the most entertaining pre-game show on the web.
While she isn't sure what she'll be wearing, Cam admits it will probably be yellow. The recently-married, one-time CMA nominee says she's excited to be able to talk to her contemporaries and friends about the show, their outfits, the music and anything else they have in common. This will be anything but the same-old red carpet broadcast. In past years stars like Garth Brooks, Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert, Lady Antebellum, Sam Hunt and more have joined Taste of Country.
During the interview Cam performed and talked about her new song "Diane," explaining the inspiration came from several situations she witnessed as a child. She's hoping to help lift the taboo of being cheated on, and openly acknowledges that the song is her response to Dolly Parton's "Jolene."
