Cody Canada and the Departed's 'Ballad of Rosalie' isn't climbing the Texas music chart, it's owning it. The former Cross Canadian Ragweed frontman and his new group of departees are leading their fellow Texas country icons with the single, which is at No. 1 for the second week in a row.

Just behind them, Kevin Fowler's 'Hell Yeah, I Like Beer,' and Eli Young Band's 'Crazy Girl,' are neck and neck, continually holding strong in their No. 2 and No. 3 spots. Cory Morrow's 'Lead Me On' is riding the wave behind them, bringing the Turnpike Troubadours, Cody Johnson and Granger Smith with him at 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Congratulations are in order for the Casey Donahew Band, who have entered the Top 10 at No. 10 with their track 'Breaks My Heart' -- up from No. 13 just last week.

We can't wait to see which new Texas country crooners enter the Top 10 as the summer grows hotter. Keep it cut to Taste of Country. We'll bring you the race updates as they happen!
