The Texas music chart took a week off to enjoy Thanksgiving with its statewide family, but has returned this week with a new song in the top slot. Cody Canada and the Departed swooped into No. 1 with their single 'Skyline Radio,' knocking Kevin Fowler's 'That Girl' into second place.

Behind them, Wade Bowen and Casey Donahew Band (who are in our Red Dirt Rumble this week) round out the Top 5 with help from Aaron Watson. Jason Boland and the Stragglers celebrated a two-month run at No. 1 earlier this year with 'Mary Ellen’s Greenhouse,' but the song has since slid all the way to No. 8.

New to the chart this week, Whiskey Myers introduces 'Ballad of a Southern Man' at No. 10, and Reckless Kelly holds onto the Top 10 by a thread with 'Good Luck and True Love.' Check back next week to see how this week's top Texas country artists fared!
