Darius Rucker just celebrated his one year anniversary as a Grand Old Opry member, and the excitement hasn't faded one bit. In a short video to thank his committed fans, he admits he's still on cloud nine.

"I just can't believe it's been a year since I've become a member of the Grand Ole Opry ... thank you guys so much for your support, for all the things you do for me," the 'Wagon Wheel' singer says. "I'm still honored. I'm still on cloud nine about being a member."

Rucker also gave props to Old Crow Medicine Show for joining him as a member of the Opry on Sept. 17, 2013. The band was inducted in by Dierks Bentley and Marty Stuart -- and, much to everyone's delight, Little Jimmy Dickens returned to the Opry stage to stand in the circle once again. In an ironic twist of fate, one of Rucker's most popular tracks is 'Wagon Wheel,' one of the Old Crow Medicine Show's signature tunes (originally a Bob Dylan hit).

Although Rucker's big Opry achievement happened a year ago (Oct. 16, 2012), he hasn't stopped working hard on music. He hit the road this past spring and summer for his 2013 True Believers Tour and is currently climbing the charts with his newest hit 'Radio.'
