Dierks Bentley will get his classic rock on next week. The singer will perform a cover of Pink Floyd's gem 'Wish You Were Here' on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' on September 29. The performance is part of the show's week-long celebration of and tribute to the music of the legendary Pink Floyd.

While Bentley won't be performing one of his stellar originals, it's still a super cool performance for him and a cool promotion for him to be a part of, especially since he will be representing country music's ability to rock with this appearance. Consider him country music's ambassador to Pink Floyd, one of the greatest rock bands of the modern era. The band is releasing two box sets ,and to celebrate, artists of all genres are paying tribute to them.

Bentley is in good company, since the likes of Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters will be a part of the tribute, too. Indie bands like the Shins and MGMT are also getting in on the Floyd fun.

Be sure to tune in to 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' next week to enjoy what is sure to be Bentley's unique take on 'Wish You Were Here' -- a moody, maudlin rocker if there ever was one.
