Florida Georgia Line Take ‘H.O.L.Y.’ to Top of the Charts
Florida Georgia Line are celebrating their 11th No. 1 single with "H.O.L.Y." The song, written by busbee, Nate Cyphert, William Wiik Larsen, recently topped both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and Mediabase chart.
“From the college guys we were when ‘Cruise’ came out to starting our families, it’s been really cool to see our fans and radio embrace the music BK and I make,” Tyler Hubbard said in a press release. "'H.O.L.Y.’ is personally so special to us ... thank you to everyone who took it to the top!”
"H.O.L.Y." is the lead single off the duo's forthcoming album Dig Your Roots, out Aug. 26. Florida Georgia Line wrote over half the songs on their upcoming 15-track release, which was produced by Joey Moi. On Dig Your Roots, the duo collaborated with Tim McGraw, the Backstreet Boys and Ziggy Marley.
“Tyler and I have been beyond blessed to have so much support throughout our career and are continually grateful when these moments happen,” Brian Kelley adds. “Here’s to digging a little deeper and soaring even higher with our fans every night out on the road!”
Josh Kear, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson wrote “God, Your Mama, and Me,” the album’s 11th track, which features the Backstreet Boys. Meanwhile, Hubbard and Kelley also worked with McGraw on a song called “May We All,” and Marley sat in for a reggae track titled “Life Is a Honeymoon.”
“Collaborating with Tim McGraw, the Backstreet Boys or Ziggy Marley alone is already super surreal for us, but to have them all on this album is pretty mind-blowing,” Kelley says in a press release revealing the album's track listing.
The band is currently on the Dig Your Roots Tour.
