Gwyneth Paltrow delivered a standout performance last month on 'Glee,' and now the Oscar-winning actress and 'Country Strong' co-star will reprise her role as McKinley High's animated substitute teacher, Holly Holiday, in an upcoming episode.

"I was just in awe of everybody’s talent and getting to work with Jane Lynch, and Matt Morrison is so adorable, and all the kids — it was just great. It was really fun,” Paltrow gushed to Access Hollywood about working with the cast on her 'Glee' debut, where she performed an invigorating solo of Cee Lo Green's Grammy nominated hit 'Forget You,' as well as a part in the show's contemporary mash-up of Rihanna's 'Umbrella' with the classic song 'Singin' in the Rain.'

As for her second appearance, no song list or plot line has been announced, but we're pulling for a country rendition after hearing Paltrow's 'Country Strong' singles 'Me and Tennessee' and the movie's title track -- especially since there hasn't been a country-laden 'Glee' episode yet. (Are you listening, Ryan Murphy?) We could see Paltrow tackle Patsy Cline's 1961 ballad, 'Crazy,' or even a twangy country duet with on-screen interest Mr. Schuester.

Regardless, we're looking forward to watching Paltrow take on her role as the fallen country star Kelly Canter in 'Country Strong,' which also features Tim McGraw (who plays her husband and manager), as well as 'Tron' actor Garrett Hedlund (who becomes involved with Paltrow's character) and 'Gossip Girl''s Leighton Meester (Paltrow's competition). 'Country Strong' premieres nationwide Jan. 7, 2011.
