Jake Owen is giving a big thanks to the military for all of their hard work. The 'Beachin'' hitmaker is teaming up with the Players Championship to show our troops his appreciation during the Military Appreciation Ceremony put on by the tournament.

On May 7, the Players Championship takes a day to honor the military. It's then that Owen will perform on the clubhouse lawn at TPC Sawgrass, near Jacksonville, Florida. The day of appreciation will also include activities and programs that will give thanks to the men and women of the Armed Forces.

The Players Tournament is a full golf tournament that lasts from May 6-11, with money going toward northeast Florida charities. Military members will be admitted to the tournament for free throughout the week.

Naturally, Owen is excited to be apart of the event and give his thanks to the Armed Forces. "Performing for the military is always a true honor," the singer says. "I admire what these men and women do to serve our country and I can't wait to show my support."

Playing for the military isn't the only thing keeping the 'Days of Gold' singer busy. He's also out on his Days of Gold Tour, which has dates through October. Full tour dates are here.
