Jana Kramer Thanks Fans for Support After Reported Split
Jana Kramer turned to social media on Saturday (Aug. 27) to thank her fans for their support while she's been going through a very difficult time in her personal life.
The country singer and actor posted a picture of herself holding and kissing her daughter Joile Rae to her Instagram on Saturday morning. "I just wanted to say thank you to my fans for all the love. This has been an extremely hard time but Jolie has given me more strength than I ever thought possible," she captioned the photo. "Your continued support means the world too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Kramer reportedly split from her husband of 15 months, Michael Caussin, recently, a source close to the couple told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday (Aug. 24).
The anonymous source said the "Circles" singer is “devastated,” adding that she is “trying to put on a brave face and do what’s best for her daughter.”
The couple met on Twitter and married in May of 2015. It was Kramer’s third marriage and Caussin’s first. She was briefly engaged to fellow country singer Brantley Gilbert in 2013, but their wedding plans were called off in August of that year. She was briefly married to Michael Gambino in 2004, and again to actor Johnathon Schaech in 2010.
According to reports, Caussin is undergoing treatment in a rehab center. The reason for his stay has not been disclosed.
Kramer was still wearing her wedding band in an interview on Chelsea Handler's show that taped Wednesday (Aug. 24), but appeared to allude to the breakup in a veiled way.
“It wasn’t until I was 30 that I was like, ‘I don’t need any more bulls–t in my life,’” she said. “I was in bad situations in my 20s and now in my 30s, I’m like, ‘you know what, I’m stronger, I respect myself more to put myself in better situations than I did in my 20s."
Kramer and Caussin welcomed Jolie Rae in January of 2016. She is their only child.
