Country superstar Jason Aldean and hot sibling trio the Band Perry have been added to the lineup that is being pieced together for the 2012 CMA Music Festival. Aldean and the Band Perry will perform at the four-day festival during the nightly concerts set to be held at LP Field in the heart of downtown Nashville next summer.

In addition to the nightly concerts that will feature an all-star lineup, fans will also have the opportunity to see the afternoon concerts that take place at the Riverfront Park stage, and they will aso have access to the Nashville Convention Center where artists meet and greet their fans throughout the four days.

The CMA Music Festival, formerly known as Fan Fair, started in 1972, and it has since become Nashville's signature music event. At this time, Carrie Underwood has been the only other previously announced artist confirmed for the 2012 lineup. Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

The CMA Music Festival is set for Thursday-Sunday, June 7-10, 2012. Tickets to the nightly concerts range from $115-$325. The concerts held at Riverfront Park have free admission. To make reservations or to purchase tickets to the event, visit the festival's official website here.
