Jennifer Nettles Announces Christmas Album Details

Jennifer Nettles is gearing up for the holiday season with a brand new Christmas album titled To Celebrate Christmas.

Dolly Parton revealed the news before the official announcement during a Facebook Live chat with fans and divulged that she has a song featured on the release called “Circle of Love.”

"I did a Christmas album years and years and years ago," Parton told fans on Facebook. "But I am going to do a new one that’s going to include things from the new Christmas movie, Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. There’s a song called ‘Circle of Love’ and I think Jennifer Nettles is also including that song in her new Christmas album that’s coming out this year. I will have it in the one that comes out next year."

Nettles' 10-track album will be available on Oct. 28 and in addition to Parton's song, To Celebrate Christmas features collaborations with Andra Day and Idina Menzel.

"I’m such a lover of this season and all of the magical feelings that surround us during the holidays so it will be exciting to share it with fans at our live shows," Nettles says in a press release. "Especially since the birth of my son, who arrived to us in December, I’ve found even more joy in Christmas traditions and music. Having both Idina and Andra lend their idyllic voices to some of my favorite songs is the bow on top!"

In addition to her holiday album, Nettles will embark on a short tour for To Celebrate Christmas which includes dates in Nashville on Dec. 8; Tallahassee, Fla. on Dec. 9; and Lake Charles, La. on Dec. 10.
