Jerrod Niemann vs. the Henningsens – The Showdown

Jerrod Niemann's fans stepped in a big way to push his new song 'Drink to That All Night' to a new round of the Showdown. Many tweeted the song battle to friends, encouraging others to vote for the funky country hit. They'll need to keep the momentum up through the weekend to beat hot new country trio the Henningsens. 

Clara Henningsen and company have released their new single 'I Miss You,' the follow-up to the Top 20 hit 'American Beautiful.' A new video for the song has also just been revealed. The ballad was on the Showdown once before -- in July it fell to Danielle Bradbery's hit 'The Heart of Dixie' -- and had a good enough showing to merit a return trip.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
