Jessie James Decker is gearing up to release her brand new EP titled Gold, which officially drops Feb. 17. The record includes five tracks, two of which bear songwriter Maren Morris’ name, among additional hitmakers Jesse Frasure and Jeffrey Steele.

Decker wrote one of the tracks, “Girl on the Coast," and co-wrote the single, “Lights Down Low,” which has garnered more than 6.5 million streams on Spotify thus far and hit No. 1 on the iTunes country singles chart. She says her relationship with husband and NFL player, Eric Decker, does influence her songwriting, as it likely did with that tune, which focuses on finding time for romance in a crazy life of careers and parenting.

“I do have some songs where it is about my relationship with my husband and it does get very personal,” the singer says. He actually even appeared in the video for “Lights Down Low.” “There was no convincing Eric to do the video, because the alternative was having some other guy all over me in a music video. He’s great in the entertainment world and he’s so gorgeous and comfortable in front of the camera, it’s nothing for him.”
