John Carter Cash and his wife Ana Cristina Cash have welcomed their first child. Baby girl Grace June Cash arrived on Sept. 11, the couple have revealed.

Ana Christina announced the news via social media on Monday (Sept. 18), a week to the day after Grace was born.

"My husband John Carter and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Grace June Cash," she writes on Instagram to accompany a gallery of the adorable baby girl. "She was born on September 11th, 2017 at 5:44 pm. Welcome to the world sweet little angel."

John Carter Cash is the only child of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Grace June's middle name is the same as that of her legendary grandmother.

John Carter and Ana Christina Cash announced the pregnancy in a gender reveal in April, sharing a video in which they learned the sex of their baby by cutting into a cake decorated with pink and blue flowers, featuring the words “Baby Cash” and blue and pink question marks. The pink icing inside the cake revealed that they were expecting a girl.

"My wife Ana Cristina and I are so blessed to announce a new addition to our family," Cash said in a statement at the time. "We are grateful to all of our friends and family for their continued support."

"We are so thrilled that God is blessing us with a precious little girl," Ana Cristina added. "My husband John Carter and I are completely over the moon about the news and we can’t wait for the arrival of our baby daughter."

John Carter Cash is a singer-songwriter and noted producer whose projects include working with Loretta Lynn on her forthcoming new studio album, Wouldn’t It Be GreatAna Cristina Cash is also a singer-songwriter, and she released an EP, The Tough Love EP, in March.

The couple married in October of 2016. Grace June Cash is their first child together. John Carter Cash also has three children from previous relationships; two sons, Jack Ezra and Joseph John, and a daughter, AnnaBelle.
