Josh Kelley Promises to Buy Four Copies of Pistol Annies’ Debut Album

Josh Kelley is set to open for Taylor Swift very soon, but his most recent tourmate has been Miranda Lambert, and the pair have become close. When Taste of Country caught up with Kelley recently, we asked if there was some inside info that fans may not already know about Miss Lambert that he could share.

The 'Georgia Clay' singer spilled to Taste of Country, "She [Lambert] tours with a traveling bar that travels with her to every show."

Kelley also got to go behind the scenes with Lambert as she debuted her new girl band Pistol Annies in front of him, his band and crew. He says, "A few weeks ago she let us hear her new side group called Pistol Annies, and they are really good! They are unbelievable!" Apparently, Lambert played music from her new band for Kelley and his crew in her traveling bar and the guys were simply "blown away." In fact, they were so impressed that Kelley told her, "You just sold four CDs." The future Mrs. Blake Shelton was so excited she called her dad to say, "We just sold four CDs!"

We don't blame the guys one bit -- we're huge fans of the all-girl trio's debut single, 'Hell on Heels.' Since we were able to learn something new about Lambert, Taste of Country turned the tables on Kelley to ask what there is that we might now know about him. He revealed, "I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under three minutes," adding, "I did it live on ‘Regis and Kelly.’ You learn the secrets after you’ve done it for a while. You learn patterns. I have just always been good with angles in geometry."
