Justin Timberlake Taking ‘Man of the Woods’ on Tour
Justin Timberlake will release his Man of the Woods album on Feb. 2 and then hit the road. The pop/R&B/maybe country singer has announced his 2018 Man of the Woods Tour, kicking off March 13.
The dates have the Memphis native trekking through New York, California, Florida and Tennessee, among other locations, this spring.
“The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs," Timberlake shares in a video trailer for the tour. "That’s the main idea. The tour will be able to bring the outside in. How can we bring that to life? I want people to see the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. I’ve never seen that done before — bring the outside in."
Timberlake has said his latest musical project was inspired by his family, where he lives and the rural area where he grew up (in Tennessee). While it hasn't been marked as a 100 percent country album, he's wearing flannel on the cover — plus, he'll get some assistance from country's own Chris Stapleton on a song called "Say Something."
Tickets for Timberlake's tour go on sale on Jan. 16.
