The Showdown: Keith Urban vs. Trent Harmon
These two Taste of Country Showdown competitors know each other very, very well. Keith Urban is the champion after his song "Wasted Time" knocked Thompson Square out of the winner's circle last weekend. On Monday and Tuesday, he'll take on his protege, American Idol winner Trent Harmon.
"Wasted Time" is close to becoming yet another No. 1 hit for Urban. It'd be his third straight from Ripcord, ToC's Best Album of 2016 so far. Harmon is searching for his very first radio hit. "Falling" may have been too hot for some to handle, but "There's a Girl" is a sweet love song performed with unmistakable honesty. The Mississippian is a man in love in this song. The lyrics shine during an understated vocal performance.
Listen to clips of both Urban and Harmon’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
