Kelsea Ballerini’s New Song ‘Club’ Is Infectious [Listen]
Kelsea Ballerini is on a hitmaking streak with her latest release, "Club." The 26-year-old released the infectious new track on Friday (Nov. 8).
"I don't wanna go to the club / I don't wanna watch everybody around me try to hook up / And say stuff they don't mean / And get drunk and get cheap / So what's wrong with me? / 'Cause I don't wanna go to the club," the songstress sings in the chorus.
What begins as a softer slow tune slowly builds into a full-out jam about not wanting to deal with all the struggles and negative connotations that the club life brings.
The new track brings the "Love Me Like You Mean It" singer's pop influence to light. The blend of country with hints of pop creates a song that is sure to be stuck in your head for days to come. "Club" showcases Ballerini's sassy side in the melody of the track, while showing off her lyrical ability.
The single artwork features personal polaroids of Ballerini and friends on a table with confetti and shoes laying on the ground—a perfect fit for the song!
The new release follows up her emotional track "Homecoming Queen?" The new music seems to be off of Ballerini's forthcoming third studio album that is reportedly being released in 2020.
Ballerini will be performing at E!'s People's Choice Awards on Sunday (Nov. 10). Fans can tune into the show at 8 PM ET. She hinted on Twitter that she will be giving the debut performance of her new single.
