Kelsea Ballerini’s ‘Unapologetically’ Album: Everything You Need to Know
Kelsea Ballerini's second album Unapologetically is coming, but fans have known that for months. She's been hinting about song titles, collaborations and themes since last summer. Here is everything confirmed about this new project, including the release date.
Ballerini's Unapologetically album will drop on Nov. 3 and include her single "Legends." Love songs, breakup songs, fan tributes — expect it all, sometimes in the same verse and chorus! While Forest Glen Whitehead hasn't been officially named producer the singer has indicated he's closely involved.
The Album Title:
Ballerini revealed her Unapologetically album will be released on Nov. 3 during an appearance on Good Morning America.
The Songs:
Ballerini has played several new songs from Unapologetically live recently. Most are co-written by the singer, as she wants people to know her for her songwriting skills as well. Per Billboard, Shane McAnally, Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsay, Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne helped her with songs.
Below is a list of songs on the album. "Legends" is her current single, a song she says is a tribute to fans who've followed her since the beginning.

The Themes:
During an August 2016 interview with Taste of Country Ballerini said that her new studio album will explore a breakup and newfound love with her fiance Morgan Evans. About half the album will be dedicated to each topic. Evans will join her as a backup vocalist on one song, but it's not yet clear which one. At the time she would only say this song was under consideration for the album's title.
So, Who's the Guy?:
Morgan Evans is Ballerini's love. They met in March 2016 and got engaged in December. Evans is an Australian singer-songwriter who recently signed with Warner Music Nashville. Of the Christmas Day marriage proposal the "Legends" singer would say, "This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him."
