No. 84: Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, ‘Picture’ – Top 100 Country Love Songs
You don't necessarily think of Kid Rock as the romantic type, but the sometimes-rapper showed his more sensitive side with 'Picture,' which he wrote and recorded with Sheryl Crow. Not that he's straying into Kenny Rogers territory by any means; the long-haired rocker says he's been "living my life in a slow hell" and "fueling up on cocaine and whiskey," lamenting how his bad behavior on the road has destroyed his relationship.
His long-suffering woman tries to move on with another man, but the two lovers can't bear to be apart. In a surprisingly sweet ending, true love conquers all, with the pair admitting, "I just called to say I love you / Come back home." That's the theme of a true contender for the Top 100 Country Love Songs.
