Lady Antebellum will perform for the first time ever in Australia next spring when they join Keith Urban for a series of concerts down under. So far, five dates have been announced for this leg of Urban's Get Closer 2011 World Tour, beginning April 8 in Adelaide and wrapping up on the 15th in Brisbane.

This visit to Australia is clearly the next stage of Lady Antebellum's global domination plan. The young band from Nashville has already sold over three million copies of their second album, 2010's 'Need You Now,' here in America, so clearly it's time to conquer new lands.

They've also won or been up for pretty much every award under the sun (including a pace-setting six nominations for the 2011 Grammy Awards), had a street named after them in their hometown and watched as 'Need You Now' became the 4th highest selling album on iTunes all year.

Fear not, American fans. Once they fill their bank account with Australian dollars garnered while performing on the Urban dates, Lady Antebellum will return for a series of stateside festival dates scheduled throughout the spring and summer.
