Lauren Alaina charmed the live and television audiences during tonight's 'CMA Country Christmas' special. Sitting in front of giant Christmas trees surrounded by children, Alaina told Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles that this past year has made her truly appreciate her family because she's been away from them so frequently.

"I feel like Christmas kind of came early this year," she said when Nettles asked her what she hoped to receive this year. "I've gotten everything I ever dreamed of. I have been super blessed."

Alaina appeared in a pre-taped segment with her mother talking about how love is a gift (though she admitted that she'd love makeup if Santa Claus insisted on bringing her a material gift), then serenaded the audience with the song 'My Grown Up Christmas.'

Wearing a sequined black cocktail dress, Alaina sang with passion and an almost childlike wonder, ending by beaming a 1,000 watt smile at the cheering audience.
