In an email to fans this afternoon, Lauren Alaina revealed the cover art for her new album 'Wildflower,' which hits stores next month. The 'Like My Mother Does Singer' says the title reflects who she is. "Wildflowers are sweet, but then they have a little bit of spunk to them," she says. “I like to have a lot of fun and I’m really sassy."

"I can't wait for you to hear the album, which has 12 songs, including one that I co-wrote," Alaina adds in her most recent email. "All of the songs are very different, so there's something on 'Wildflower' for everybody. Each song tells a story that I really related to, and my hope is that the songs will touch your heart as well."

In addition to the current single, the album will include a song called 'She's a Wildflower' about a shy girl in school who turns into a strong and successful woman later in life.  "We'll be releasing more details about the album soon. I wanted to be sure that you were the first to see my new album cover. Thanks for believing in me!"

'Wildflower' will be available on October 11, one week after 'American Idol' winner and Lauren Alaina bestie Scotty McCreery releases his debut album, 'Clear as Day.' The two are currently on the American Idols Live Tour, which wraps up on September 10. Be sure to check Taste of Country on Friday for exclusive interviews with both artists.
